Description: Every four years, we work closely with local, state, and federal government agencies, and community-based organizations to update the Regional Plan by collecting feedback, studying travel data, and forecasting how the region will grow and change over the next few decades.The goal of the 2025 Regional Plan is to make transportation more convenient, reliable, equitable, healthy, and safe for everyone. It will include short- and long-term plans for our region’s transportation system.Throughout 2023 and 2024, we gathered public input from thousands of people across the region about their transportation needs. This input, along with feedback from our Board of Directors, partner agencies, Policy Advisory Committees, community partners, and the public is helping shape the projects, programs, and policies we are proposing in the 2025 Regional Plan.The Draft Proposed 2025 Regional Plan Transportation Network includes a high-level view of all the proposed improvements and summarizes the feedback we received. (Lea este documento en español.)Our data and modeling team has conducted an analysis to ensure that this transportation network would satisfy state and federal requirements for pollution and traffic reductions. Meeting these requirements will ensure our region can continue receiving funding for future transportation projects.
