Description: Floodway 100 year for San Diego County unincorporatedThis layer represents Floodways; those being channels of watercourses that carry the deepest and fastest water downstream (and thus having a high-degree of damage potential), during a 100-year flood event. This floodway representation for 100-year flood events was originally created by County of San Diego, Department of Public Works, Flood Control Engineering, as a series hardcopy maps, based on 5-foot contour intervals at 200 feet per-inch (1:2400) scale and stored at the Survey Records counter of Dept. of Public Works. All of the areas depicted are subject to change due to development. See original maps for the dates they were created.
